Century Post

I can't believe that it has been a hundred days since Parker was moved to isolation. I started writing messages the day he was placed in isolation and although there have been the odd day that I have not written a post I do try my best.

Today we were pleasantly surprised at the support that we have received in Durham. Not Durham North Carolina, but Durham Ontario where Ajax is. We were contacted a few weeks back when the article in the Toronto Star came out from a woman in Ajax. She, with her sister-in-law own a little shop in Ajax that sells very beautiful furniture and accessories for the home. They wanted to do a fundraiser for Parker.

Today, they had a special sale at their store. They sold raffle tickets, had an outdoor sale, as well as donated 10% of their total sales to Parker's cause. We dropped by today during the sale and were so surprised at the turnout and support we got from our community. We are so very appreciative.

If anyone is out this way, you really should drop by their store and take a look around. They really do have some very wonderful stuff there. They do have a website, so you can get directions from there. Thank you so much to everyone who took part.

HI Parky,
It's soo nice to see how many people love you and want to make you better asap. It's nice to know that the world is still a caring place. We're so sorry you had to go thru that horrible clinic day, but you're a tough guy and we know you'll always pull thru the hard times, with your mommy and daddy by your side. Miss you Parker! Today we won't get to see you cause Grandma and Grandpa will be sitting for you, but we'll get to see your mommy and daddy for the World Cup. Make sure you cheer extra hard for Italy!
Love you lots and lots.

Hi Parker,

Wow, so many things are happening in your life right now! There's the excitement of the World Cup (which I am sure that in a few years you will be able to see how much it excites your dad when Italy plays!), there is sweet potato (yum) and fingers on your hands! Wow! Lots of stuff happening, cutie.

Keep exploring the world around you!

Hello Little One!

I am so sorry that I have been away for so long! I have missed your little face! I have now figured out this new computer so we are back together again!

A great BIG congratulations on your team the great Italia winning today! Yippee! It was so exciting! I hope the screams around the city did not scare you today...I am sure that there were lots of honking cars and screaming fans! Soon you will be learning how to speak Italian (in fact you may be doing so already!)

I cannot wait to see you Parker Poo! I am hoping that I can see you one day this week! You are looking as cute as ever and I heard your little voice over the phone tonight! Keep letting your feelings be known! You have such a strong little voice and you have so much to say!

I love you Parker Poo!!!

Auntie Natalie
